Arrest made in homicide investigation
The Homicide Investigation Unit of the Office of the State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit, the Sheriff’s Major Crime Unit and the District 23 Medical Examiner have informed local Historic City News reporters that they are conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 39-year-old St Johns County woman.

Historic City News was informed that heavy rainfall in amounts of 3″ to 6″ impacted southeast St Johns and northeast Flagler counties today, with some of the heaviest amounts between St Augustine Shores southward toward Palm Coast.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
When you are the oldest continuously occupied city of European origin in the United States and on the precipice of celebrating the 450th Anniversary of your founding, you take preservation of what remains of your historic structures very seriously. Demolition of the remaining 50 to 100-year-old homes is unacceptable in all but the direst of circumstances.
