SR-207 bike trails close for foundation repairs
Florida Department of Transportation alerted local Historic City News reporters that a section of bike trail along SR-207, from Moccasin Branch to CR-305 in St. Johns County, will close starting Monday for repairs.

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.


On Thursday, September 11, the City of St. Augustine has invited Historic City News readers to attend the annual Ceremony of Remembrance; a community gathering to remember those who died in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Community Liaison Jennifer Tesori reported to Historic City News that St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association will hold its Fifth Annual Food & Wine Festival on Sunday, September 28, from Noon to 4 p.m. with selections from seventeen of the historic city’s best local independent restaurants — featuring more than 100 wines, and several new attractions.
