St. Johns County announced to Historic City News that all local St Johns County agencies have discontinued the re-entry tag program.
In preparation for Hurricane Irma, the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners informed local Historic City News reporters that they have declared a Local State of Emergency at the September 5, 2017 regular meeting.

As Historic City News readers are aware, Hurricane Irma has strengthened into a Category 5 Hurricane and is currently moving west across the Atlantic Ocean.
