St Johns County Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes contacted Historic City News this morning to announce that, due to health and safety concerns of our employees and the public, and, in response to COVID-19, the Elections Office will allow only limited public access to the building thru May 1st.

The City of St. Augustine, in collaboration with Kinsa, Inc., is developing a pilot project to provide real-time temperature data that will enable public health officials to monitor, predict, and respond to aggregated changes in fever data with the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic in the city.

St. Johns County Emergency Management updated Historic City News informing local reporters that the School District has cancelled all field trips and events through the end of the school year.
