Old Town Trolley holds first Holiday Light Display contest
Dave Chatterton, General Manager of Old Town Trolley Tours of St Augustine, announced to Historic City News today that guests riding the “Holly Jolly Trolley” during this year’s Nights of Lights season will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite holiday lighting display.

Following the announcement by The Florida Times Union that they would begin the practice of charging for their online edition, I made the prediction that it wouldn’t be long before their sister publication, The St Augustine Record, would follow suit. Today, Delinda Fogel confirmed that my prediction would come true on Sunday, November 3rd.
Dalonja Duncan, President of the Anniversary to Commemorate the Civil Rights Demonstrations, Inc. (ACCORD), and Elizabeth Duncan, Chairwoman of the Civil Rights Museum of St. Augustine, Inc., have jointly announced to Historic City News that the two organizations will combine efforts to bring a local Civil Rights Museum to fruition.
