County beach facility and access improvements
St Johns County informed Historic City News that the new Vilano Beach walkover, crossing SR-A1A South of 23rd Street, is now open to provide safer and more convenient access to North Beach — for residents and visitors alike.

St Augustine Police Officer Alina Shirshikova was called to the St George Tavern just after midnight yesterday to investigate the report of a sexual battery of a woman by a man she says she met earlier in the evening inside the downtown bar; according to a report received by Historic City News today.
Earlier today, Thursday, June 27, at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in St Augustine, Consumer Energy Alliance-Florida hosted an Agriculture and Energy Policy Luncheon featuring updates on agriculture and energy policy issues, in partnership with the Agriculture and Environment Council of the St Johns County Chamber of Commerce.
Food Truck Crazy, based in Orlando, informed local Historic City News reporters that Mayor Joseph L. Boles, Jr., will be one of five celebrity judges when more than 24 food trucks will compete for five prestigious awards at Francis Field on July 27th.
