Historic City News has learned that over 200 people were drawn to public meetings during the week of September 17-21 to attend the “St Augustine Mobility Institute” a weeklong intensive effort to learn about mobility challenges along the city’s three entrance corridors; King Street, San Marco Avenue, and Anastasia Boulevard.

St Johns County Sheriff’s Corporal, Catherine Payne, alerted local Historic City News reporters, that when deputies arrived at Motel 8, following up on a tip that a “wanted man” was on the property, they stumbled right into a clandestine methamphetamine lab; leading to three felony arrests.

Traffic Homicide Investigators have informed local Historic City News reporters that a motorcyclist, first believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries in a vehicle-vs-motorcycle crash, is now known to be in stable condition at Orange Park Medical Center.
