Officer injured in drug arrest last night
Local St. Augustine reporters at Historic City News have learned that at Woodcrest Apartments last night around 6:00 p.m. while making a drug related arrest, one St. Augustine Police Officer was injured and sent to the hospital for a medical examination — before being cleared to return to work.




Guest speaker U.S. Representative John Mica spent time with St. Johns County Republicans and guests during last night’s barbecue and political rally; attended by some of Florida’s top Republican leaders and candidates.
Supervisor of Elections Penny Halyburton reported to local Historic City News reporters in St. Johns County that it was a “very light day” at the conclusion of the first day of early voting.
