Gwendolyn Duncan, President of the 40th ACCORD, Inc., told local Historic City News reporters that U.S. Congressman John Lewis will serve as the Keynote Speaker at the 4th Annual ACCORD Northrop Grumman Freedom Trail Luncheon on July 2, 2010.
Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local St. Johns County reporters with Historic City News that Corporal Jamie Roster has been named the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year”.
Cultural Council President Matt Jeffs told local Historic City News reporters that the non-profit organization is still holding their 2010 Membership Drive to help accomplish a mission of promoting St. Johns County as a premiere arts destination.

Historic City News reporters were notified that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 44 year-old man on charges stemming from a traffic crash on March 20th of this year which claimed the life of Jeanne Aramini, 76, of St. Augustine.
Florida Governor Charlie Crist said in a statement to local Historic City News reporters, “Cuban Independence Day is a reminder of the long and difficult fight for a democratic republic in Cuba. However, on the 108th anniversary of Cuba’s independence, our Cuban neighbors continue to face another struggle for freedom under the current dictatorship.”
Pat Greenfield, Secretary of The Republican Club of Greater St. Augustine, announced to Historic City News that their organization will meet on Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St. Augustine in the former Skybus terminal building.
