St. Johns County Commissioner Cyndi Stevenson responded to Historic City News after yesterday’s vote to approve a zoning and land use change that clears the way to build Anastasia Mosquito Control District’s proposed headquarters on Agricultural Center Drive.

Historic City News has learned that Loomis Bros. Circus will be performing at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, November 18th and Thursday, November 19th.

Visitors and Convention Bureau Communications Director Jay Humphreys, reported to Historic City News that on December 12th & 13th, St. Augustine’s dazzling array of bed and breakfast inns will display their holiday finery during the 16th annual Bed and Breakfast Holiday Tour.

Parks Division employees with the St. Augustine Public Works Department spoke with Historic City News this morning while they went about adorning the decorated tree — just as they have since Nights of Lights began in 1994.

Property Crimes Unit detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office have reported to Historic City News that they are investigating a rash of utility trailer thefts that occurred throughout the county over the past 3 1/2 months.
