Light-up Night to illuminate over two million lights
Barbara Golden with the Visitors and Convention Bureau, reported to Historic City News that next month, the City of St. Augustine will begin its annual Nights of Lights celebration commencing with the “Nights of Lights Light-up Night” on November 21, 2009.

Still no payment to Record publisher’s creditors
In what industry insiders are calling “almost comical” and the “regular Friday extension”, Morris Publishing Group, LLC, publishers of The St. Augustine Record and Florida Times Union, announced that they will be granted yet another week’s protection from cross default penalties until October 9, 2009.
