Anybody can create a fancy website and fill it with a lot of fluff and fancy talk, but without facts and sources how do you know what to believe?
The City of St. Augustine reported to Historic City News that a water main break occurred on Cordova Street August, 13th — the break has now be repaired and contained.

Its nice for Historic City News to be able to report on at least one local company that says “business is looking up” despite the sagging economy.
The proposed city fire fee has me thinking about the maneuvers all government bodies are taking in order to conform with mandates to lower budgets while meeting the need to providing essential public services.

Historic City News has verified that an article attributed to Peter Guinta that was published in today’s Record newspaper, falsely reports that “The commission passed the fee unanimously.”
Communications Director Jay Humphreys with the St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau updated Historic City News on this weekend’s entertainment events including a rodeo, pub crawl and concerts.

Detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office reported to Historic City News that they are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding injuries found on a 41-year old man last week at a Ponte Vedra Beach parking lot.
