Historic City News learned that winter’s icy chill will return to Florida’s Anastasia Island when Winter Wonderland opens November 21 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre according to Communications Director Jay Humphreys, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau.

Jay Humphreys with the St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau reported to Historic City News that the 52nd and largest edition of one of the Southeast’s favorite art and craft extravaganzas returns to St. Augustine on Thanksgiving Weekend, November 29-30.

Karen Pan reported to Historic City News that all departments of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Historic City News contacted Commissioner Mark Miner this morning to discuss the demands of his new seat on the St. Johns County Board of Commissioners and his employment with CSX.
