Historic City News editor Michael Gold remarked that he never thought he would see it, but in Flagler county four men were arrested yesterday; two by Flagler Beach police and two by sheriff’s deputies, for violations of the posted curfew.

National Guard activates 8,000 to assist in Irma recovery

Maj. Gen. Michael Calhoun, the Adjutant General of Florida, told local Historic City News reporters that there are currently more than 8,000 Soldiers and Airmen conducting search and rescue operations, supply distribution points, and shelter management operations throughout the state in support of local and state agencies recovering from Hurricane Irma.

St Johns County Fire Rescue members of the Urban Search and Rescue team are finding numerous homes throughout the county that have been damaged by high winds, fallen trees and flood waters.
