Out on bond, brothers arrested on new assault charges

Two brothers, both of whom have pending criminal cases in St Johns County Court, were arrested today and are being held without bond on additional charges stemming from an assault against a high-profile government activist in the City of St Augustine Beach.

Second deputy arrested for domestic battery in 30-days

A 17-year veteran of the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office, and member of the SJSO Dive Team, Jeremy Jennings Galentine, was arrested yesterday and charged with misdemeanor battery and domestic battery by strangulation, a third-degree felony.
