Five arrests to date at drug dwelling in Southern Grove

Historic City News was informed that a residence in the Southern Grove subdivision, north of CR-210 in St Johns County, has been declared a “drug dwelling” after sheriff’s detectives returned this morning, for the second time this week, to execute a search warrant — today’s search netting three additional arrests.

Manhunt for Andrew Thomas Stanton

Following extensive investigation of an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 21st, Historic City News has been informed that the hunt is on for a 26-year-old St Augustine man; who police say, struck one law enforcement officer with his vehicle, and attempted to hit at least three others.

Sex offender arrested for failure to register

Historic City News was notified that 51-year-old John Edward Osgood, was arrested on third-degree felony charges yesterday afternoon for failure to properly register as a sex offender.
