Adjustments on the Vision Committee to accommodate the Sunshine Law point up the futility of local government managing community endeavors – like Mayor Joe Boles decreeing the 450th would be managed by the City Commission while the framework for a community-based organization was already in place.




A warrant obtained by sheriff’s detectives resulting from an investigation that began April 19, 2013, was reported to Historic City News as “served” when a local man was arrested on capital felony charges yesterday afternoon.
In light of the Commission’s goal to promote economic development, I am pleased to share that the redevelopment of Seabridge Square Shopping Center is well underway and is reportedly fully leased.
