Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

As I have been quoted, many times, there will never be a free nation without a free press. Citizens of most states do not enjoy the same ease of access to public information as those in Florida — we have one of the most open public records laws in the nation (F.S. 119).
St Johns County Congressman, Ron DeSantis of Ponte Vedra Beach, said the President really owed everyone who lost their individual healthcare plans “an explanation” during his State of the Union address this week; telling Historic City News that the bulk of Americans have lost faith in President Obama on healthcare.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of St. Johns County, Florida will hold a special meeting on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in Conference Room 1 of the County Permit Center, 4040 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, FL 32084. The purpose of the special meeting is to conduct a Concurrency Workshop to have discussion of Transportation Planning tops and the County Transportation Concurrency Program. The Board may also consider and take action on any other business that may lawfully come before it during the special meeting.
The 2014 Session of the Florida legislature does not convene until March 3rd; but Historic City News pays close attention to the three-weeks of Committee meetings, going on in February, because we know that is when the foundation is laid for the pathway that will carry successful bills to the governor’s office to become law.

My wife, Kathy, and I have lived in this district for almost 14 years and I have served the people of our county for over seven years.
