A Jacksonville attorney who was arrested February 3, 2011, and whose criminal case is still pending in Duval County Circuit Court, has been suspended by The Florida Bar for two years, according to records received by Historic City News in St Augustine today.
Target, a major retailer of dry goods and soft lines, sometimes referred to as an “upscale Walmart”, has included St Augustine in its group of store locations that have been upgraded and remodeled to expand their fresh food selection.

Three weeks ago, some retailers began Christmas advertising — Wal-Mart had Christmas trees setup with lights, and “holiday sales” started showing up on counters at gift merchants around St Johns County.
Former St Augustine Mayor, George Gardner, announced to Historic City News that the residents in Nelmar Terrace and Fullerwood Park Historic Districts do not plan to slow down their efforts to put the brakes on plans for a 7-Eleven store and gas station along San Marco Avenue; a northern entrance corridor to the city.
