Coming to a library near you – notary service
Notary services for basic documents will be available to Historic City News readers at the Main Library in St. Augustine, as well as the Bartram Trail, Hastings, and Southeast Branch Libraries beginning November 1st.

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Chef Chris Proulx, Aviles Restaurant at Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront, was selected as the People’s Choice Top Chef Thursday, Oct. 23, at Renaissance World Golf Village Resort during the Third Annual Flavors Top Chef Cook-off, a benefit for Home Again St. Johns.

The City of St. Augustine and the North Florida TPO are developing a commercial delivery management plan that provides adequate travel routes and parking locations for commercial delivery vehicles, without negatively affecting visitor traffic, historic properties, congestion, and noise or air pollution in St. Augustine.
All early voting locations will be open on both Saturday and Sunday, October 25th & 26th from 8 AM – 6 PM Daily. Early voting will also be offered next Saturday, November 1st from 8 AM – 6 PM at all locations. Early voting end on November 1st at 6 PM.
The National Park Service will treat Historic City News readers to a free opportunity to explore the ecology of Florida’s coast at its upcoming Bird Walk; scheduled for Saturday November 1, 2014 at Fort Matanzas National Monument.
