Castillo admission FREE on Monday
Historic City News readers are invited to participate today when the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument will celebrate the 98th birthday of the National Park Service by waiving its normal entrance fee of $7 today. They will be offering special interpretive programs, including Spanish 18th century weapon firing demonstrations on Monday, August 25.

From time to time, we make improvements to the Historic City News website, https://historiccity.com/ and we are making some this month. One, that has actually been available for several months now, is the ability to post comments to our website without being logged in to a facebook account.
