PUBLIC NOTICE OF NEGOTIATION MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, PURSUANT to Section 286.011, Florida Statutes, representatives of the Collective Bargaining Team of St. Johns County and representatives of the International Association of Firefighters Local #3865 will meet in public session for the purpose of collective bargaining contract negotiations. Historic City News became aware of an upcoming program, produced by FRONTLINE and PBS, that will air online and on local PBS affiliate stations beginning November 26th, titled “A Death in St Augustine”.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Making allegations that the FDLE investigator made the facts fit his own theory of the case in the 2010 suicide of his former girlfriend, Michelle O’Connell; Deputy Sheriff Jeremy H Banks filed a lawsuit against the agency for civil damages in excess of $15,000, and, through his attorney, Mac McLeod, is asking for the decision to be made by a jury.
The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind has informed Historic City News that the Ray Charles commemorative stamp will be unveiled in a ceremony on Monday, November 18, on the same campus where the legendary musical performer attended high school classes while in St Augustine.
