The downtown streets will become the course for the St Augustine Half Marathon this weekend, November 16-17; when thousands of participants from across the United States, and even internationally, participate in the family-oriented event to benefit Project Autism of St Johns.

Last weekend, the San Sebastian Parish welcomed the entire community for their 35th Annual Fall Festival.
Barbara Golden, Communications Manager for the St Augustine, Ponte Vedra and the Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau, informed local Historic City News reporters about the following entertaining events for our St Johns County readers.
Fr. Thomas S. Willis, Rector of the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Augustine, has invited all Historic City News readers to celebrate the sixth anniversary of Compline by Candlelight; as part of the “Nights of Lights” Light Up Night festivities.
The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 am in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for the noon recess.
