Home Again receives $11,000 from tourism industry
Historic City News has learned that this year, the local tourism industry has contributed a total of $11,000 to Home Again St Johns to help them promote and foster support to resolve issues related to homelessness in St Johns County; compassionately and effectively.

The Veterans Council of St Johns County reported to Historic City News that, in cooperation with the St. Augustine 450th Military Commemoration Committee, they are sponsoring the annual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11th at Francis Field; located on West Castillo Drive in St Augustine.

St Augustine’s Buried Cemeteries
The Tolomato Cemetery Preservation Association has invited Historic City News readers to attend a special presentation by noted historical archaeologist, Dr. Kathleen Deagan, on the hidden First Spanish Period cemeteries of St Augustine on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 3:00 p.m.
Meeting to discuss future TDC funding
The St Johns County Tourist Development Council, in its October 21st meeting, instructed St Johns Cultural Council executive director, Andy Witt, to establish a revised set of funding policies and a revised panel review process to be implemented with the 2015 Fiscal Year.
