Keepers of the Coast told Historic City News reporters in St Augustine that they are recruiting volunteers to participate in the 27th Annual International Coastal Clean-Up on Saturday, September 15.
Flagler College assistant professor Tina Jaeckle informed local Historic City News reporters that, according to a Rand Corporation study, one-in-five returning veterans suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder — one in six will attempt or commit suicide.

Bright sun for Menendez Landing

A big crowd attended the celebration of the September 8, 1565 landing of Pedro Menendez de Aviles at the Mission Nombre de Dios.
