Students from each high school recognized by commission
Historic City News will be watching Monday evening when the St Augustine City Commission presents Citizenship Awards to a graduating senior from each of St Johns County’s high schools; recognizing them for leadership to their school, community and other students.

When St Augustine plays host to the 2012 National Underground Railroad Conference later this month, the National Park Service tells Historic City News reporters that there will be many opportunities for local residents to participate in the five-days of cultural activities.
