The Board of County Commissioners has proclaimed April as Sea Turtle Awareness Month according to a report received by Historic City News from Habitat Conservation Coordinator Tara Dodson.

Project Manager Nick Perpich in the St. Johns County Engineering Division reported to Historic City News that beginning today and lasting for approximately the next four months, the westbound lane of West King Street will be closed between US 1 and Palmer Street/Pellicer Lane.

Three Flagler College journalism students have won four state and regional awards for work published online or broadcast in 2008 according to an announcement from Brian Thompson, Director of Public Information.

Media Specialist Liz Daube reported to Historic City News that Flagler College senior Jamie Alvarez recently received a leadership award from the Enterprising Women’s Leadership Institute of Florida.
