Beach community earns Night Out award

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Historic City News learned that the keen eye of a 12-year-old boy spotted a young raccoon that had become stranded on Florida Park Drive in Palm Coast yesterday. The small raccoon had managed to get his back right leg wedged between two large branches of a crape myrtle tree.
Ryan Murphy, General Manager of the St Augustine Amphitheatre, informed local reporters with Historic City News that this year, 2013, was a “banner year” for the St Johns County Cultural Events Division.
JoLinda Brown reported to Historic City News that, at 8:10 a.m. tomorrow morning, the St Augustine Fire Department will be meeting Santa Claus as he rides into St Augustine aboard the Florida East Coast Railway’s Christmas Train to contribute our local donations to the US Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” program.
