Meet a Patriot Service Dog on Veteran’s Day
Returning disabled veterans have many needs; some of which can be met with help from a properly trained canine partner, like those placed by Patriot Service Dogs; a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that matches a service dog’s abilities with an applicant’s disabilities.



In honor of Veterans Day, David Chatterton, General Manager of Old Town Trolley Tours of St Augustine, reported to Historic City News that all military veterans, whether active duty, retired, or honorably discharged, will be given a buy-one-get-one-free discount on admission to their popular local attractions.
Historic City News has learned that this year, the local tourism industry has contributed a total of $11,000 to Home Again St Johns to help them promote and foster support to resolve issues related to homelessness in St Johns County; compassionately and effectively.
The Veterans Council of St Johns County reported to Historic City News that, in cooperation with the St. Augustine 450th Military Commemoration Committee, they are sponsoring the annual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11th at Francis Field; located on West Castillo Drive in St Augustine.
