FDOT road repairs and maintenance report
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.


Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas National Monuments in St Augustine have a new Chief of Interpretation, according to an announcement received by Historic City News last week.
Gwendolyn Duncan, reported to Historic City News that the 40th ACCORD, Inc., is looking for volunteers to assist with seating, student decorum, and refreshments, when a free screening of “Dare Not Walk Alone” is shown at the Willie Galimore Community Center.
Historic City News was invited to hear a presentation by St Augustine Commissioner Nancy Sikes-Kline this morning as she conveyed our city’s “station story” before the Flagler Line Forum held in the City Commission Chambers of the Cocoa City Hall.
The St. Johns County Public Library System reported its plans for entertaining and educational events in store for Historic City News readers this month.
The St Augustine Humane Society informed Historic City News reporters that they have received approximately 300 lbs of pet food for dogs and cats from Nease High School’s student run “Panthers for Pets” organization.
