Some weeks, my brain hurts — and this has been one of those weeks.
With this morning’s updates to our publishing platform, we are FINALLY through with annual maintenance of our systems and software, so things should quiet down here through the holidays.

Ever try to put the toothpaste back in the tube?
Once it squirts out, that’s it — you own it; and, like all the evils known to man that came gushing out of Pandora’s Box, once open, it’s not so easy to put things back the way they were and replace the lid.
One day a florist went into a barber shop in Washington, DC for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill and the barber replied, “I cannot accept money from you; I’m doing community service this week.” The florist was pleased and left the shop.
Following the announcement by The Florida Times Union that they would begin the practice of charging for their online edition, I made the prediction that it wouldn’t be long before their sister publication, The St Augustine Record, would follow suit. Today, Delinda Fogel confirmed that my prediction would come true on Sunday, November 3rd.
