Temporary injunction against Commissioner Jones
A temporary injunction was granted in St Johns County Court on Thursday by Judge John Alexander on the petition of a Jacksonville woman who has accused St Augustine City Commissioner Errol Jones of “repeated violence” against her.

Historic City News has learned that George Robert Lightkep, Jr. was convicted by a St Johns County jury today on two charges that he committed sexual battery on a person less than 12 years-old; the jury required only 12 minutes of deliberation.
The largest fleet of county-owned vehicles reported to Historic City News is the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office; whose deputies depend on their patrol vehicles to deliver critical public safety services — from one end of the county to the other.
Public Affairs Director Klare Ly, from the Office of State Attorney RJ Larizza, reported to Historic City News that at 9:00 a.m. Thursday and Friday, March 29 and 30th, George Robert Lightkep, Jr., will face capital felony charges of sexual battery on a child less than 12 years-old.
RJ Larizza, Sate Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit, reported to Historic City News that his office received pleas last week from four defendants arrested as part of an undercover investigation focused on catching online sexual predators targeting children.
