Another look at city budget Monday

City Commissioners will take another look at staff efforts to close an estimated $1.7-$1.8 million shortfall in next year’s budget at a public workshop at 3:30 p.m. in the Alcazar Room on Monday.

SJSO Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that two men have been arrested and a third is being sought after they led investigators on a chase that sent one of the suspects to the hospital.

Majority or minority?

Sometimes I am reminded of the tendency of people to cling to ideas that are simply not true; like the idea that the “majority rules” when voting. This is one of those times.
