St. Augustine Public Information Coordinator Cathy DuPont informed local Historic City News reporters today that the St. Augustine Uptown Neighborhood Association will meet this Sunday.

High winds and rough seas hinder young turtles

Over the course of the last two weeks, direct onshore winds pushed several sea turtle hatchlings back onto St. Johns County beaches, resulting in over 250 volunteers being called into action to survey the coastline.

St. Johns County Tax Collector Dennis W. Hollingsworth told local Historic City News reporters that teen safety is a top priority for all driver license clerks at his office.
