Young Republicans fish fry a hit in Hastings

Blue Sky Farms in Hastings was alive with activity this afternoon when St. Johns County Young Republicans presented an old fashioned political rally and fish fry — and Historic City News was there.

Alexander holds Roberts bond at $500,000

Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw reported to the Crime Patrol desk at Historic City News that 26-year old transient Joseph Dean Roberts appeared before Circuit Court Judge John Alexander today on charges of auto theft and violation of parole.

Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw reported to the Crime Patrol desk at Historic City News that the 26-year old transient who has been sought for three months in connection with the disappearance of a 45-year old South Ponte Vedra Beach woman, is back in St. Johns County today.

The Florida League of Cities notified Historic City News that they will sponsor this year’s Florida City Government Week; which is a special time to recognize the significant role played by city government in our everyday lives.

Writing About Something is conference theme

The Florida Literary Arts Coalition informed Historic City News local reporters that they will sponsor the 2010 “Other Words Conference” being held on the Flagler College campus in St. Augustine on November 4th – 6th.

Wake up with morning brew October 19th

Historic City News will be on hand when a mixed media show by Flagler College alumni titled “Morning Brew” will be on view in the Rotunda Gallery at the St. Johns County Administration Building from October 19, 2010 through January 19, 2011.
