City voters should be leery

I believe that the key to rebuilding our local economy is encouraging small businesses to make their home in St. Augustine. Be leery of federal government retirees who have spent their careers creating more and more red tape that only discourages small businesses. If you agree, then you need to vote for Michael Gold.

Workshop to discuss Wendler lawsuit against City

Historic City News local reporters were notified that preceding the regular meeting of the St. Augustine City Commission Monday night, City Attorney Ron Brown will address a commission workshop being held at 3:30 p.m. to discuss a claim for $3.4 million against the city by Donna and Scott Wendler.

BMW seized in drug arrest after traffic stop

St. Augustine Police reported to Historic City News that a traffic stop of a white BMW was conducted at about 10:30 p.m. last Friday night by officer Michael Kettman; after he observed the vehicle run the stop sign at Dumas and Bridge Street.

Abare to address neighborhood association

Flagler Model Land Neighborhood Association announced to Historic City News reporters that they will hold their quarterly meeting Tuesday evening, November 9th at the new Floridian Restaurant, 39 Cordova Street, at 7:00 p.m.
