Second Annual St. Augustine Cycling Festival
On September 11th and 12th, the Second Annual St. Augustine Cycling Festival will return to the St. Augustine Amphitheater with plenty to do, see, and enjoy for bicyclists from the casual rider to professional racer.
Victim in house fire sustains minor injuries
Jeremy Robshaw, Public Information Officer with St. Johns County Fire Rescue, informed Historic City News local reporters that emergency personnel responded to a residential structure fire in the 1000 block of North St. Johns Street at approximately 7:30 p.m. yesterday.

Forum on Government speakers announced
Flagler College announced to local Historic City News reports that PBS “NewsHour” editor David Chalian will be the first speaker of the 2010-2011 Flagler College Forum on Government and Public Policy.

County offices close Sept 3rd – Sept 6th
St. Johns County reported to Historic City News that the fifth and final unpaid staff furlough day in 2010 is approaching; all departments of the Board of County Commissioners will be closed on Friday, September 3rd.
