Historic City News has been informed that a 21-year-old St Johns County man was identified and arrested today in connection with an armed robbery that occurred last Thursday in the parking lot of 200 South Woodlawn in St Augustine.
The man, identified as Titarius Rondre Lyons who resides at 410 South Holmes Boulevard, was located with the assistance of the US Marshal Service and brought in for questioning.
During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Lyons threatened a local Ancient City Taxi driver with a handgun and demanded money. Lyons escaped last week with an undisclosed amount of money.
Lyons was booked into the St Johns County Detention Facility today; where he remains in custody without bond. Lyons has been charged with two-counts of “violation of probation” for which, bond is not allowed. Bond was set at $51,000 in connection with the robbery charges.
