Dear Editor:
I see that, once again, the issue of Patrick McCormack continuing his employment as the County Attorney comes before the Board of County Commissioners.



Explaining to Historic City News editor Michael Gold this afternoon, Commander Charles E. Mulligan made clear that continued controversy in the 2010 suicide of 24-year-old Michelle O’Connell has caused Sheriff Shoar to review the entire investigation into the emotional tragedy that touched several members of his agency — however, the suicide investigation has been completed and the case is closed.
Project Chairman Steve Fricke informed Historic City News reporters that the guest speaker at this morning’s regular Thursday meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Historical St Augustine was Renee Morris, Executive Director of St Francis House.
Former Flagler College adjunct English professor, Laura Smith, will launch her debut novel, “Heart of Palm,” with a reading in the college’s Flagler Room at 6:30 p.m. on April 5 and all Historic City News readers are invited to attend.
