Early St Johns County voting Saturday
St Johns County Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes reminds Historic City News readers that this Saturday morning, October 27, at 7:00 a.m., the doors will open for in-person voting of ballots in the Presidential General Election at six convenient locations.



Detective David Garns has asked Historic City News readers for help identifying a man that attempted to commit robbery at the Kangaroo convenience store located in the 400 block of SR-16 early this morning.
St Johns County Sheriff David Shoar told local Historic City News reporters today that deputies cleared 106 felony warrants along with 68 misdemeanor warrants during the week-long Operation Felon Sweep which concluded on Monday.
On the third Saturday of each month, volunteer members of the Tolomato Cemetery Preservation Association, open the grounds to visitors; and, last week, Historic City News learned that over 400 visitors came through the gates between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
