Bliss reminds readers of Port meeting tomorrow
Commissioner Jay Bliss reminds local Historic City News readers that tomorrow, Thursday August 4th, a special meeting of the St. Augustine Port, Waterway and Beach District will convene at 2:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the St. Augustine Beach City Commission.






U.S. Attorney Robert E. O’Neill announced to Historic City News today, that U.S. Magistrate Judge Joel B. Toomey sentenced 22 year-old Scott Anthony Hill and 20 year-old Fang Chin Tsai, both of Jacksonville, to serve 24 months’ probation, including one month of home detention, for malicious damage to United States property.
Habitat for Humanity reported to Historic City News that they are expanding their current affordable home construction program to include exterior home rehabilitation and repair for existing homeowners in the Lincolnville community.

On a motion by Ron Sanchez, seconded by Mark Miner, and unanimously approved by the St. Johns County Commission, the maximum millage increase of .75 will be the figure included in the TRIM notices that will be mailed to property owners this month.
