Incidents that may be reported online
St. Johns County Sheriff David B. Shoar has designated that Historic City News readers may report the following crimes through the sjso.org website without the necessity of calling the office or waiting to meet with a deputy to file a simple incident report.
Sheriff Shoar stressed that use of the online reporting system is simply “an option”, saying that “our citizens may utilize the website to assist them in documenting a crime — it is not mandatory.”

Know your City tour returns this month
Citizens for the Preservation of St. Augustine member Nancy Sikes-Kline reported to Historic City News that in recognition of National Historic Preservation Month, her organization will sponsor two “Know your City” tours.

Young monument builders lay foundation

Art Association holds Honors Show
St. Augustine Art Association has announced to local Historic City News reporters that this week’s First Friday events will include a collection of exhibits at the Association gallery composed of work from those artists honored over the past three years.
