Flagler professor publishes first novel
Laura Lee Smith, adjunct professor of English at Flagler College, recently had her first novel, “Hearts of Palm,” accepted for publication, according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.

Registration and tryouts for junior lifeguards
St. Johns County Fire Rescue spokesman Jeremy Robshaw announced to Historic City News that registration will open for the 2011 Jr. Lifeguard program beginning Monday, May 3rd at 8:00 a.m.
