Governor delivers State of the State address
On the opening day of the 2011 Legislative Session, Governor Rick Scott outlined his priorities in his first State of the State Address. Earlier in the day, he thanked crowds of Floridians who traveled to Tallahassee to voice their support for reducing the size of government, cutting taxes and getting Florida back to work.

Saturday parade delays downtown traffic

Marine makes stop on 4600 mile bike tour
Philip Freimann announced to local Historic City News reporters that former Marine, Steve Rife, is staying in St. Augustine tonight as he makes his way on the second leg of his charity bicycle ride from San Diego, California to Augusta, Maine.

St Augustine 2011 Improvement Bond
Bonds totaling $15,360,000 that were approved by the City Commission will go to work soon, according to a report from Assistant City Manager Tim Burchfield that was received by Historic City News today.
