Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of St. Johns County, Florida will hold a special meeting on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in Conference Room 1 of the County Permit Center, 4040 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, FL 32084. The purpose of the special meeting is to conduct a Concurrency Workshop to have discussion of Transportation Planning tops and the County Transportation Concurrency Program. The Board may also consider and take action on any other business that may lawfully come before it during the special meeting.
The 2014 Session of the Florida legislature does not convene until March 3rd; but Historic City News pays close attention to the three-weeks of Committee meetings, going on in February, because we know that is when the foundation is laid for the pathway that will carry successful bills to the governor’s office to become law.
