St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners
Of the five county commission districts, District 2 is the largest in area. My wife, Kathy, and I have lived in this district for almost 14 years and I have served the people of our county for over seven years. I have enjoyed doing so and am honored to represent the residents of District 2 and St. Johns County.


On January 24th, Historic City News opened a public poll to see how our readers feel about the upcoming election for mayor of St Augustine. The polling process on our website is controlled, but it is not infallible. We don’t represent that it is reflective of anything other than the opinions expressed by those readers who cast the 228 ballots that were tabulated.
Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St Augustine announced the first step in their plans to reintroduce commercial air travel to the local airport during a press conference attended by Historic City News and representatives from television, radio, and other area media this afternoon.
Edward R. Wuellner, Executive Director of the Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St Augustine has announced a press conference to Historic City News for tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 11:45 a.m. to announce what have been called “New Offerings” to the St Augustine and St Johns County community.
Veteran organization shows appreciation
On Saturday, February 1st, Historic City News readers will want to be at the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve when they host the Annual Timucuan Adventure Day; presented by the Florida Public Archaeology Network and its partners.
The St Johns County School District invites Historic City News readers with children entering kindergarten, and students who are new to St Johns County public schools, to attend a pre-registration assembly for the 2014-2015 school year.
