Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local St. Johns County reporters with Historic City News that the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has launched an enforcement campaign aimed at removing impaired drivers from the community highways in conjunction with the Governor’s proclamation of December as “Drunk and Drugged Driving (3D) Prevention Month.”

City Fire Marshal John Rayno is asking Historic City News readers who have a fire alarm system installed in their homes or business, to check with their system monitoring company to be certain that they have the correct emergency contact information entered into their automatic alarm system.
Alleged child predator held on $1.5 million bond
A former deputy sheriff with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Department, who has been living in St. Augustine, is in custody today in lieu of bonds totaling $1.5 million dollars, according to records received by Historic City News this morning.
