First America unveils logo for 450th
Executive Director Jamie Alvarez and Martha McClintock, volunteer chair of the Programs and Events committee for First America Foundation, greeted guests and media this afternoon to show off their new logo and upgraded website.










Sheriff David Shoar announced to Historic City News today that a team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), will be at the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Saturday April 9th, to examine all aspects of the agency’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services.
First America Foundation Executive Director Jamie Alvarez told Historic City News today that they will launch a special program for sixth-to-eighth grade St. Augustine students who want to get involved in the city’s 450th commemoration.
Last month, Historic City News reported that County Commission Chairman Ken Bryan announced that the county will modify its interlocal agreement with the City in September to turn operation of the Willie Galimore pool facility over to the city.
