Regan addresses FSDB city code negotiations
Historic City News will report on an update from St. Augustine City Manager John Regan before commissioners at their regular Monday night meeting regarding negotiations with the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in response to complaints from the Nelmar Terrace neighborhood.





Coming before the St. Augustine City Commission on Monday evening, Historic City News will hear more details from Police Chief Loran Lueders about a request his department has received to feature police rookies in a professionally produced show, if it is approved.






Public Information Officer Mark Samson reported to Historic City News that the St. Augustine Police Department has made two arrests and closed their investigation into this week’s vandalism of the marble lion statutes at the west end of the Bridge of Lions.
Historic City News has received a booklet of comments from residents who have asked questions regarding the proposed St. Johns County budget that have been answered by county administration and last revised on August 8, 2011.
Congressman John L. Mica announced to Historic City News today that the Federal Emergency Management Agency has given final approval to $4.7 million for the St. Augustine Seawall project.
