Jay Kislak was born and educated in Hoboken, New Jersey. He received a degree in economics from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania in 1942 and immediately joined the Navy, serving as a naval aviator during World War II.

Fruit Cove resident killed by unsecured trailer
FHP Lieutenant Bill Leeper reported to Historic City News that Lina S. Mourad of 1459 Mallard Landing Boulevard in Fruit Cove was struck and killed by a sod trailer as it traveled north along County Road 13 yesterday morning.

Stand Strong for Public Education Rally
